Product Analyst (Payments and Transfers)

We are the Payments and Transfers team of Alfa-Bank. Our products are used daily by millions of customers. We are responsible for domestic transfers within Russia, mobile and utility bill payments, purchases via the Fast Payment System (FPS), contactless payments via phone, and much more.

We are looking for a strong professional to join our product analytics team to jointly develop the product and the analytical culture of the department, conduct interesting experiments, and implement large-scale projects. And no work for the drawer — we only do things that deliver significant business results!

Salary: benchmark — 275 thousand RUB before tax, the specific amount is discussed with the candidate individually. Quarterly bonus equal to the base salary upon achieving the department's business goals. Tech Stack: Oracle/Greenplum, Vertica, Airflow, Power BI, Superset, SQL, Python Work format: hybrid. No need to come to the office every day)

What you will be doing • Conduct end-to-end analytics for products — build data marts and dashboards with key metrics. • Participate in building a monitoring system (observability). • Create technical specifications for development teams on labeling user actions in the mobile app (at least basic experience is required; we will teach and guide you on the details). • Conduct customer base research, build customer profiles. • Run experiments and A/B tests, participate in implementing ML into the product. • Help the business develop products based on data. Develop the analytical culture of the department. • Plan key performance indicators (KPIs), calculate business cases and economic effects of initiatives.

Requirements • Proficient knowledge of SQL, confident knowledge of Python • Confident knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics • 6-9 months of experience in the field
