Engineer for Cloud Platform Support Team
We are expanding the support team for our internal cloud platform. We are looking for people who will focus on supporting our incoming traffic management system.
What tasks await you
- Collaborate with service teams to identify causes of load balancer failures: analyze load balancer configurations and data from the monitoring system, read load balancer logs
- Consult internal users on issues related to the capabilities of the traffic balancing management system
- Automate routine tasks
We expect you to
- Have experience configuring Nginx or Envoy
- Know TCP/IP and HTTP(S), including HTTP/2
- Know and have used Bash, Zsh, or other scripting languages
- Know and have used regular expressions
- Want to help people with finding and fixing failures
- Be communicative
- Strive to learn and constantly improve your skills
Will be a plus
- You know Python or Go — this will help you immerse yourself in the service's codebase faster and better understand its capabilities and limitations
- Have organizational talents: manage multiple projects that require synchronizing the actions of a large number of teams to achieve goals as quickly as possible
