Checkspot creates products that help businesses make sound decisions. We collect and structure data on companies and sole proprietors, showing risks, connections, financial signals, litigation history, and other factors that impact real money, real deals, and real consequences.
We are currently looking for an AI Product Manager who will help integrate artificial intelligence into the core of the product, not just as a decorative add-on layer.
We don't need someone who comes to talk about how AI is the future. That's already clear. We need someone who knows how to turn technology into a working product: with clear value for the customer, with coherent logic, with measurable impact, and with respect for reality.
We have a complex domain. It's not enough here to make a beautiful interface and write a couple of prompts. You need to understand where AI genuinely shortens the user's path, where it helps to see risks faster, where it reduces cognitive load, and where it creates a false sense of confidence and starts causing harm.
What you'll be doing
What's important 1. you have a strong product foundation 2. you know how to build a product amidst ambiguity, not just manage a backlog 3. you understand how to test hypotheses, where a fast launch is needed, and where carefulness is required 4. you can distinguish real value from technological noise 5. you can speak the same language as engineers while keeping the customer and business in focus 6. you don't romanticize AI and don't try to replace substance with fancy terminology 7. you are interested in working with a B2B product where the cost of error is high, and a quality solution genuinely changes user behavior
It will be a big plus if you
Why it's interesting
We are not building just another wrapper around someone else's model. We are building a product that helps see what is usually noticed too late.
At Checkspot, AI is not a marketing sign. It is an opportunity to tectonically shift the way businesses analyze counterparties, understand risks, and make decisions (or even completely break out of existing patterns). Here, you can do things that genuinely save time, reduce the likelihood of error, and make complex information accessible and useful.
This is a job for someone who isn't satisfied with launching features just for reporting. For someone who wants to influence the product as a whole. For someone who is interested in building strong logic, not just attaching another interface to another model.
