Travelpayouts is a platform that helps you earn money from travel content and is part of the Aviasales group of companies. We've become leaders in Russia and are expanding our business in North America, Europe, and other regions. International markets already contribute more than half of our revenue.
We are looking for an HR BP — someone who can provide real solutions, a fresh and expert perspective, and support.
You will own processes: keep a finger on the pulse of the teams, help managers grow, and directly influence the company culture. There will also be quite a few operational tasks, and your job here is not only to manage them but also to improve them if something isn't working as it should.
For us, HR is about partnership, empathy, and common sense, not bureaucracy, checklists, and employee performance reports.
What you will do
- Manage teams (100+ people) throughout the entire employee journey: the full cycle from offer to assessment, development, retention, and eco-friendly offboarding. Also, manage operational HR processes: hiring, transfers, processing employee requests, business trips, etc.
- Be a partner to managers: help them develop management skills, highlight risks in time, ask the right questions, facilitate meetings, and jointly find solutions in difficult situations. From a partner's position, not a service function.
- "Read" the state of the teams: launch regular surveys to understand employee needs and measure engagement. Most importantly, analyze the data and turn conclusions into concrete initiatives.
- Manage sensitive situations: competently and safely support probationary period failures, performance management, and terminations, relying on common sense and the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
- Develop internal communications: develop channels and package news and changes into texts that people want to read.
What we expect from you
- HR experience of 3+ years, with at least 2 years in the role of HR BP / People Partner: independently managing teams of 80–100 people and direct contact with managers.
- English from B1: for comfortable work correspondence and communication with employees who do not speak Russian.
- Partnership approach: ability to speak with the business and managers as equals, argue your point of view, and work proactively, not just be an "executor of others' requests."
- Independence and product thinking: ability to see growth opportunities, formulate hypotheses, and bring HR projects from idea to result.
- Knowledge of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation: practical experience in non-standard and legally sensitive situations.
- Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex things simply, structurally, and with empathy — verbally and in writing (in chats, guides, presentations).
Will be a plus
- Experience in developing internal communications or organizing corporate events and team building (online and offline).
- Experience working in an IT or product company with an open culture.
How we work
- from anywhere in the world: we are not tied to a location, we pay in dollars, we love to travel;
- no bureaucracy: comfortable human-centric processes, horizontal and open communication, quick discussion of ideas and decision-making;
- compensation: Voluntary medical insurance, psychotherapy or foreign languages, sports activities, and sick leave;
- on a paradise island: you can work from Phuket with an ocean view.
Our work approaches
- It's important for us that the team sees the HR BP as a reliable support and expert assistance, not a "process overseer."
- We value interest in great practices and fresh tools, and the desire to bring this experience to us.
- We are for openness, directness, common sense, and humor.
