Vacancy: Project Management Director
QazaqGaz Processing invites a Project Management Director to join the team to participate in the implementation of strategically important projects for the construction of gas processing plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We are looking for a strong leader with experience in managing large industrial projects at the FEED, EPC/EPCM, and commissioning stages, capable of establishing an effective project management system and ensuring the achievement of key goals in terms of schedule, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the Project Management Department's activities;
- Organization and control of project implementation at all lifecycle stages;
- Formation and implementation of a project management system, procedures, and reporting;
- Coordination of the work of engineering, procurement, construction, and contracting organizations;
- Management of project schedules, budgets, risks, and changes;
- Preparation and submission of regular reports to the Company's management and stakeholders;
- Ensuring interaction with government bodies, the shareholder, and project partners;
- Participation in making key technical and organizational decisions;
- Leading the project management team and developing employee competencies.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education (engineering education is mandatory);
- At least 15 years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or other industrial sectors;
- At least 7 years of experience in managing large investment projects;
- Practical experience in implementing projects at the FEED and EPC/EPCM stages;
- Knowledge of international project management practices;
- Understanding of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes;
- Experience interacting with international contractors and multidisciplinary teams;
- Risk, change, and stakeholder management skills;
- Proficiency in English will be an advantage.
