A federal retail chain of Dobrotsen stores is looking for a Head of Procurement Department.
The DOBROTSEN Company is the largest federal retail chain of discounter stores. The group of companies includes: logistics, production, retail.
Your key mission is to develop an effective procurement strategy in the assigned territory (Republic of Kazakhstan), form a competitive assortment, and achieve high commercial indicators for the entire network.
Key Tasks:
- Manage the procurement department and build a strong, results-oriented team
- Establish and optimize procurement processes within the federal network
- Formulate and manage the assortment matrix and pricing policy
- Ensure the achievement of key KPIs: turnover, margin, inventory turnover
- Work with regional suppliers: negotiations, improving terms, developing partnerships
- Monitor the market and analyze the competitive environment, develop proposals for assortment development
- Control contractual work and fulfillment of obligations
- Analyze, plan, and regularly report on the department's activities
- Optimize supply chains and ensure high product availability
- Build effective interaction with logistics, production, the commercial block, and other departments
Requirements:
- Experience as Head of Procurement Department / Head of Business Unit in large grocery retail chains
- Expertise in the Food category and understanding of grocery retail specifics
- Proven experience in establishing and optimizing procurement business processes
- Successful experience in achieving commercial indicators and implementing projects
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with local suppliers
- Deep understanding of category management, pricing, and assortment management
- Proficient in analytical tools (Excel, 1C, SQL preferred)
- Leadership qualities, strategic thinking, results orientation
- High level of responsibility, initiative, and ambition
