The charity organization Nochlezhka is looking for a PR Manager.
In this role, you will develop relationships with the media, find opportunities for publications, and inform a broad audience about the problem of homelessness and the work of Nochlezhka. This will help more people learn about and support their projects.
What you will do:
- Develop Nochlezhka's media presence;
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, bloggers, and other media representatives;
- Initiate publications, reports, interviews, columns, podcasts, and video materials about the problem of homelessness and Nochlezhka's work;
- Accompany filmings, respond to journalists' requests, and prepare press releases, comments, and other informational materials;
- Conduct tours of Nochlezhka's projects and represent the organization at conferences, awards ceremonies, seminars, and other public events;
- Work in accordance with the organization's communication principles and deeply understand the content of its projects;
- Analyze the results of PR activities and assess their impact on the organization's visibility and goal achievement;
- Interact with colleagues and understand who is an expert in which area;
- Participate in the implementation of Nochlezhka's communication and fundraising campaigns.
Candidate expectations:
- Experience in PR, media, or journalism;
- Experience in preparing texts for media, press releases, or other communication materials;
- A good understanding of how modern media works and the principles by which editorial offices operate;
- Contacts with journalists or the ability to quickly find the right people and build working relationships with them;
- Ability to find news hooks and turn them into stories for various formats and platforms;
- Confident public speaking skills and the ability to talk about complex social issues clearly and sensitively;
- Ability to organize and accompany filmings and reports;
- Willingness to travel to St. Petersburg.
