The Gift of Life charity foundation is looking for a PR Director — someone who can explain complex things simply and, most importantly, genuinely.
The foundation helps children and young adults with severe illnesses. It is important that people know about the foundation, feel it, understand it — and act.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the Foundation's PR strategy
- Participation in shaping the image and positioning of "Gift of Life" in the media space
- Building and developing communications with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, opinion leaders, and Telegram channels
- Preparation and promotion of content: press releases, interviews, special projects, events, campaigns
- Coordination of the PR team (PR manager, SMM, website editor, advertising manager, photographer) and external partners
- Close collaboration with fundraising, events, education, and other departments
- Crisis communications — both preparation and operational response
- Monitoring media trends, formats, and news hooks — and timely adaptation of the strategy
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in PR (in an agency, business, or NPO — the result is what matters)
- Ability to build a systematic, working PR structure
- Possess tact, empathy, and the ability to talk about complex issues with respect and humanity
- Articulate and eloquent, able to "translate" complex topics for a wide audience
- Understand how media relations work and how to gain audience trust
- Willingness to be part of a team where both the common cause and human relationships are important
Conditions:
- Full-time employment (40 hours per week)
- 5/2 office work, office located near "Novoslobodskaya" metro station
- Salary to be discussed with the successful candidate based on interview results
- Opportunity to engage in real, meaningful communication — with great semantic depth
In your cover letter, please explain why you see yourself as a PR Director at "Gift of Life".
