Communication agency DBO is looking for a PR Director.
DBO Communication Agency is a regular partner of government agencies and major business companies for the implementation of projects in the field of communications and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of PR strategies for commercial and government clients (on a long-term basis).
- Management of writing and distribution of press releases, announcements, invitations for media, speakers, and guests.
- Planning and conducting PR campaigns, generating information triggers for clients. Working with industry, regional, and federal media, building a loyal base of journalists.
- Information support of events (before, during, and after): control of media kit creation, distribution of announcements, working with media accreditation at the event.
- Attracting and communicating with speakers, partners, and VIP guests of events.
- Organization of press briefings, interviews, post-releases following events. • Monitoring and analyzing publication activity after events.
- Development and management of the agency's PR strategy, strengthening its reputation in the market.
- Generating information triggers about the agency's activities, cases, and expertise. • Organizing the participation of employees and top management in professional conferences, round tables, and ratings.
- Searching for and implementing collaborations, special projects, and interviews with key figures. • Forming and controlling the budget for PR activities (divided into client projects and internal PR).
- Analysis of PR strategy effectiveness (KPIs: sentiment, reach, citations, conversion to inquiries).
- Team management (PR managers, copywriters, digital and SMM specialists) and task distribution among client and event projects.
- Preparation of regular reports for clients.
Requirements:
- Higher professional education (journalism, public relations, marketing).
- Experience as a PR Director / Head of PR Department for at least 3 years (agency experience will be an advantage).
- Understanding the differences between long-term PR support (subscription model) and event PR (announcement – event – post-release cycle).
- Knowledge of media and advertising legislation.
- Experience in writing and editing any formats: press releases, sales articles, columns for business media, social media posts, event scripts.
- Ability to establish contacts with editors, identify key decision-makers in the media, and build long-term relationships.
- Budgeting skills, calculation of PR services for clients, financial reporting.
- Ability to analyze PR effectiveness (including for events – number of publications, publication sentiment, presence of key speakers).
- Proactivity, unconventional thinking, idea generation for both clients and the development of the agency's own brand.
- Charisma, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to present, persuade, and handle objections.
Will be a plus:
- Experience working with government clients simultaneously. • Portfolio of successful PR campaigns for events (e.g., conferences, exhibitions, festivals). • Knowledge of media analytics tools (Medialogia).
