The Friends Foundation is looking for a PR & Communications Manager.
The Friends Foundation is a foundation that helps non-profit organizations become more professional, systematic, and effective in achieving their main goal – to make the life of our society better. Through its key programs, the foundation brings best business practices to the work of charitable organizations and creates platforms for fundraising and successful cooperation between NGOs, businesses, and the government.
What needs to be done:
- Initiate and support publications in the media
- Develop relationships with journalists, editors, and media partners
- Organize interviews, expert comments, and columns
- Accompany communications around launches, events, and key program milestones
- Formulate content logic for programs together with project teams
- Participate in media planning with the SMM specialist
- Coordinate mailings and regular communications
- Support program websites and oversee the creation of textual and visual content
- Work in conjunction with the teams of the Moscow School of Professional Philanthropy, ProCharity, and the Center for Research and Knowledge
- Participate in the launch of new educational programs, research, and products
- Package ideas and projects for different audiences
- Support communications with partners, special projects, and collaborations
- Work with influencers and ambassadors, coordinate the participation of foundation experts in industry events
Requirements:
- Experience in communications and independent project management
- Experience interacting with the media
- Strong text skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly immerse yourself in new topics
- Independence, initiative, systemic thinking, and responsibility for results
- Experience in NGOs, charity, culture, media, or communication agencies will be a plus
- Experience working with influencers and ambassadors will be a plus
- Interest in social issues and the development of civil society will be a plus
