Head of PR and Communications at Vera Hospice Charity Fund
The Vera Hospice Charity Fund is opening a vacancy for the Head of PR and Communications.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of plans to strengthen the fund's reputation, increase its awareness and trust.
- Positioning and promotion of the fund's director and key speakers as public experts: preparing speeches, articles, organizing participation in industry events and publications in the media.
- Building and developing long-term relationships with key media outlets, ensuring systematic coverage of the fund's activities, projects, and expert position.
- Planning and controlling the execution of the department's budget.
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive editorial policy and content strategy for all external channels (website, social media, newsletters).
- Managing the department team: setting tasks, quality control, competency development, and workflow optimization.
- Organizing and coordinating communication support for partnerships and key fundraising campaigns.
- Developing a system of metrics and regularly analyzing the effectiveness of communication activities to achieve the fund's business goals (awareness, reputation, fundraising).
- Developing protocols and operational management of communications in crisis situations to minimize reputational risks.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism, including project or team management.
- A portfolio of implemented projects for strengthening reputation and promoting experts (media lists, material samples).
- Skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and analytics (ability to work with metrics and draw conclusions).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, editorial experience.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape and digital environment.
- Experience working in an NGO or a commercial company with a strong social mission is desirable.
