Product Designer for a New AI App on Preventive Medicine.
We are launching a new AI application that advances preventive medicine: it helps users not only get treated but also stay healthy.
The app provides guidance on health monitoring, timely check-ups, and habit changes — based on user data and evidence-based medicine recommendations.
We are looking for a Product Designer who will be responsible for the product design from the earliest stages. We understand how crucial good design is for the user — especially when it comes to health and trust in recommendations.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing key user scenarios from scratch: health assessment onboarding, personalized prevention plan, regular check-ups, and reminders;
- Developing interaction patterns with AI: generation and waiting states, error handling and failed results, clear explanation of recommendations' capabilities and limitations;
- Transforming medical data (lab results, examinations, tracker metrics) into understandable user insights and next steps — without intimidation or unnecessary anxiety;
- Designing habit formation and long-term retention mechanics: progress tracking, reminders, motivation to return to health care;
- Designing input interfaces: hints, pre-set scenarios, voice input, and document upload — to ensure users without prior experience get value from the first try;
- Developing the product concurrently for web and mobile apps and maintaining functional synchronization across platforms;
- Designing in-product marketing tools: onboarding banners, landing pages, paywalls, acquisition mechanics;
- Preparing mockups for A/B tests and analyzing results with the team;
- Laying the foundation for the new product's design system and evolving it.
What we expect from you:
- Experience working with mobile applications;
- Active use of AI tools and an understanding of how modern AI products work and how their features impact the interface;
- Ability to transform large volumes of data and complex logic into a simple and understandable interface;
- Accuracy and empathy when working with the sensitive topic of health;
- Strong UI skills and excellent command of Figma;
- Understanding of the user metrics tree and how to influence them through the interface;
- Experience conducting research and using analytics to make design decisions;
- Systems thinking, product vision, a keen eye for detail;
- Readiness to work in a startup environment: rapid iterations, hypotheses, minimal pre-defined answers.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in MedTech, HealthTech, or Wellness products;
- Experience launching a product from scratch (0 → 1);
- Experience designing assistants or LLM-based products;
- Studio experience with visuals;
- Prototyping skills using AI tools;
- Design engineer skills: ability to generate code for animations, micro-interactions, and live prototypes using neural networks.
