Risk Technology Team Lead

Yandex's risk team is developing a technological platform for underwriting, portfolio management, and collections processes. We are building a system that helps make data-driven decisions quickly and transparently.

We are looking for a leader to develop risk technologies. You will be tasked with redesigning the decision-making system architecture, making it user-friendly and resilient to increasing load.

It is important to be able to combine engineering thinking with an understanding of risk business logic. You will work with development, analytics, and risk management teams to ensure the platform operates stably and changes to risk policy are implemented quickly.

What tasks await you

Development of the technology platform You will need to relaunch the decision-making system, making it flexible and manageable, develop the risk platform (underwriting, portfolio management, collections), automate risk unit processes and improve data quality, set up testing, release, and change implementation processes, and collaborate with development, analytics, and QA teams.

We expect you to

• Have led the development or implementation of risk systems
• Understand credit risk management processes and their technological implementation
• Have worked with decision-making systems
• Know how to establish release and testing processes in critical systems
• Can organize the work of a cross-functional team
• Have experience integrating ML models and building data pipelines for risk analytics (a plus)
