Creative Art Director for the Yandex 360 Ecosystem
Yandex 360 ecosystem is looking for a Creative Art Director.
Yandex 360 is a digital space that brings together services for work and everyday tasks: Mail, Drive for file storage, Telemost for video calls, Calendar, Documents, Messenger, and many others. The Communication Design team is responsible for the brand's visual identity and creates design solutions that make complex technologies simple and understandable for various B2C and B2B audience segments. They work at the intersection of design, marketing, and technology, ensuring a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and clarity of communication.
We are currently seeking a strong and dedicated Creative Art Director – a person with visionary thinking, someone who not only follows trends but can also propose new approaches, shape the visual language, and drive the team's quality forward. It’s important that you have strong visual taste and excellent craft – you should be ready to work hands-on. We need someone who can quickly dive into a task, propose several directions, rally a team around them, and bring a project to a great result.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Shaping and developing visual language: you will be involved in developing the visual language, creating 360 advertising campaigns, finding bright insights, and turning them into ideas.
- Art direction and supporting colleagues: you will curate and develop the team, as well as build internal processes.
- Working with stakeholders: you will need to present and defend your and the team’s decisions with arguments. Additionally, you will work with feedback.
Requirements:
- Managed a team of designers or art directors for at least three years.
- Ability to not only create strong projects independently but also to help others become stronger.
- Experience in creating 360 advertising campaigns.
- Ability to find bright insights, turn them into ideas, and translate them across different channels so that the entire communication is cohesive and works as a single entity.
- Understanding of composition, typography, and color; ability to draw by hand and use references as a tool for idea generation, not just as a beautiful picture.
- Ability to present ideas, defend them with arguments, and calmly work with feedback from stakeholders.
