Lead Communications Designer at Auto.ru

Auto.ru is the largest automotive marketplace in Russia, helping millions of people buy and sell cars. We are building a service where every step—from searching for your dream car to completing a deal—becomes simple, safe, and convenient.

Our communications design team is responsible for everything users see outside the main product: from advertising campaigns and special project websites to branding and merchandise. We turn complex automotive stories into clear and compelling messages.

Your key goal is to create a visual language that will not only attract attention but also convey the value of Auto.ru, strengthening brand trust among the widest audience.

What tasks await you

Development and implementation of creative digital concepts You will create design for landing pages, websites, large-scale special projects, and digital communications. Your work is not just images, but thoughtful visual narratives that solve business problems and are memorable to users.

Brand and identity development You will work on branding and corporate identity for advertising campaigns and merchandise. You will synchronize with product designers to ensure Auto.ru's visual language remains cohesive and modern across all touchpoints.

Creation of templates and design systems You will develop and maintain template libraries that will allow the team to quickly and efficiently scale communications while maintaining the highest level of execution.

Working in a creative tandem You will closely collaborate with a copywriter and a creative lead, jointly generating and implementing strong ideas. This is an opportunity to influence the creative process at all stages.

Strategic contribution to the development of the direction If you aim for an art director position, you will be tasked with shaping the vision for the design direction, as well as mentorship and participation in strategic planning.

We expect that you

• Have worked as a communications designer for more than five years, preferably in a studio environment or big tech
• Have presented your concepts and work to a cross-functional team (producers, marketing, product)
• Have a strong portfolio with examples of work for digital campaigns, branding, and web projects (websites, landing pages)
• Confidently master key design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Understand the principles of typography, composition, and color rendering
