Overgear is an international e-commerce platform for game currencies and in-game services (power leveling and coaching). We operate in the US and European markets, processing over 200,000 users per month, with an annual revenue exceeding $20 million. We are building a premium service that helps players achieve their goals faster and with enjoyment.
We are currently looking for a Gamelead who will take on one of the key roles — managing the WoW Retail direction and developing the product portfolio.
A Gamelead here is someone who sees the potential in games, turns ideas into offers, manages money, and grows revenue. You work like the owner of your product line: launch MVPs, test demand, look at P&L, and make honest decisions — whether to scale or stop.
What you will do:
- Formulate the development strategy for the WoW Retail direction — analyze the market, game seasons, patches, player demand, and decide which offers to launch, scale, or reconfigure.
- Launch MVP offers within ≤ 30 days — bring out the first products, test them with real orders.
- Manage the P&L of the direction — focus on Gross Revenue, Clients, ROMI/ROI, Margin %; make timely decisions on what to strengthen and what to stop.
- Develop and revise offers — create strong product cards and offers together with content and marketing, strengthen what works, and remove weak solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams — work with UA, CRM, Delivery, and Sales to ensure that price, acquisition channel, and customer experience are aligned and yield results.
- Maintain constant contact with the WoW Retail market and players — track patches, meta, seasonal changes, audience behavior, and customer feedback to find new growth points.
- Submit regular P&L reports — see the real economics of the direction and propose specific actions to increase revenue and profitability.
What is important to us:
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing, e-commerce, gaming, or growth roles.
- Experience with MMO / F2P / live-service products.
- Solid understanding of WoW Retail and current gaming experience: it is important to be well-oriented in current mechanics, seasons, key activities, and player behavior logic.
- Understanding of P&L and key growth metrics: revenue, CAC, ROMI/ROI, Margin %.
- Experience launching new products or offers — from idea to first sales.
- Ability to think systematically: see the relationship between demand, price, acquisition channels, and the delivery part.
- Skill in working with promotion and channels — from performance to influencer marketing.
- Confident English (B2 level).
What will be a plus:
- Deep understanding of specific WoW Retail segments: PvE, Mythic+, raids, PvP, professions, boosting scenarios, and seasonal offers.
- Experience with game economy, pricing, and offer profitability.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Mixpanel, BI.
- Understanding of UX/UI and the impact of interfaces on conversion.
- Experience with influencer marketing.
- Experience with rapid hypothesis testing and launching MVPs in conditions of uncertainty.
