PR & Partnerships Manager at IKRA
IKRA is looking for a PR Manager who will take charge of external communications, partnerships, and PR project implementation.
We need not just someone who can negotiate publications and speaking engagements. We are looking for an independent manager capable of identifying a suitable opportunity for IKRA, assessing its potential, building a project with a team, and driving it to a measurable result.
What you will do
Develop PR and Partnerships
- Process and analyze incoming proposals: speaking engagements, conferences, publications, collaborations, and special projects.
- Evaluate platforms based on audience, reputation, relevance to IKRA's PR themes, and commercial potential.
- Independently seek out conferences, media outlets, brands, and partners.
- Propose topics for speaking engagements, publications, collaborations, and joint projects.
- Prepare and distribute press releases about IKRA's news and projects.
- Maintain relationships with partners and re-engage with promising contacts.
- Manage the PR calendar and balance brand image, product, and commercial activities.
Manage PR Projects
- Manage projects from the first contact to completion in YouGile.
- Formulate plans, tasks, deadlines, and areas of responsibility.
- Coordinate partners, speakers, and contractors.
- Organize meetings, technical rehearsals, and material preparation.
- Control contracts, documents, payments, and budgets.
- Verify the readiness of the venue, equipment, presentations, links, and handouts.
- Ensure all participants receive timely and relevant updates.
Work with Speakers and Content
- Select a suitable curator or speaker based on the request.
- Conduct briefings and organize preparation.
- Assist in structuring presentations: defining the goal, audience, key points, practical application, conclusion, and connection to IKRA's products.
- Adapt existing material for specific platforms without turning every presentation into unpaid custom development.
- Monitor deadlines, engagement, and the scope of paid speaker work.
- Preserve successful presentations and materials for reuse.
Control External Materials
- Review presentations, Miro boards, handouts, and other materials visible to the external audience.
- Ensure logical flow, appropriate language, visual style, and consistency with the IKRA brand.
- Provide the team with up-to-date templates and links.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across different communication formats.
Turn PR into New Opportunities
- Identify the commercial potential of speaking engagements, publications, and partnerships.
- Determine if a contact can evolve into a special project, training, new speaking engagement, or long-term collaboration.
- Collect contacts and feedback after events.
- Follow up with partners and participants.
- Forward warm leads to sales and record further steps.
- Suggest appropriate transitions to IKRA's available products after PR activities.
Evaluate Results
- Maintain a registry of PR activities, partners, and platforms.
- Record reach, contacts, leads, agreements, and follow-ups.
- Assess which conferences and formats are worth repeating.
- Collect photos, testimonials, links, and results for future case studies.
- Prepare a brief monthly report: what was done, what was achieved, and how relationships are developing further.
Additional Directions
Depending on the workload and experience of the individual:
- Participation in merchandise production and working with contractors;
- Assistance with LinkedIn and the founder's personal channels;
- Individual posts for IKRA's channels;
- Conducting internal sessions on editorial policy;
- Maintaining order in brand templates and materials.
These tasks are not the primary outcome of the role and are prioritized together with the Brand Director or Manager.
What kind of person are we looking for
- Has experience in PR, partnerships, special projects, conferences, or event/project management.
- Can independently manage multiple projects without losing track of agreements.
- Can assess not only the reach of a platform but also its alignment with the brand and business objectives.
- Can communicate effectively with speakers, managers, partners, and contractors.
- Capable of editing the structure of a presentation, a presentation deck, or external text.
- Is not afraid of documents, budgets, payments, and organizational routine.
- Can gently but persistently obtain responses and ensure deadlines are met.
- Sees the next step after an event, rather than considering a publication or presentation as the final result.
- Writes fluently and understands the brand's tone of voice.
- Can work independently in situations where there isn't a ready-made instruction for every scenario.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience in education, consulting, creative industries, or B2B;
- Own contact base in media and conference platforms;
- Experience working with the founder's personal brand;
- Editor or educational content producer skills;
- Experience with YouGile, CRM, 1C, Figma, and Miro.
How we will know you are succeeding
Within the first 3 months:
- all incoming requests are processed and have a documented solution;
- an up-to-date PR calendar is created;
- every active project has an owner, deadline, and next step;
- a database of platforms, media, and potential partners is established;
- the first independent outgoing initiatives are launched;
- contacts, feedback, and commercial follow-ups are recorded after events;
- presentations and external materials are produced in the unified IKRA standard.
Further evaluation of the role's results will be based on:
- quantity and quality of relevant PR placements;
- number of new partnership initiatives;
- percentage of projects completed without delays;
- number of warm contacts and leads;
- number of repeat invitations and continuations;
- adherence to budget;
- quality and reuse of created materials.
Work Format
- Full-time employment.
- Significant autonomy and direct interaction with IKRA's management, curators, and partners.
- Necessity to attend select in-person events and technical rehearsals.
