Cloud.ru, a cloud services provider, is looking for an Evo CNI Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Forming and developing the product vision for the Evo CNI network plugin in the cloud;
- Managing the product roadmap: task prioritization, balancing business value and technical development;
- Working with stakeholders (engineers, architects, related teams, business) and gathering requirements;
- Forming and verifying hypotheses, working with product metrics (reliability, performance, adoption);
- Managing the product from idea to production: decomposing tasks, participating in planning, controlling delivery;
- Participating in architecture development with technical leaders (CNI, dataplane, integration with cloud network).
Requirements:
- Product Owner/Product Manager experience of 3–5 years (preferably in B2B/platform/cloud products);
- Experience managing a technically complex product (infrastructure, platforms, backend systems);
- Ability to form a product vision and product development strategy;
- Experience managing backlog and roadmap, making prioritization decisions;
- Skill in working with metrics and making data-driven decisions;
- Experience working with engineering teams and understanding the development process;
It will be a plus if you:
- Understand how Kubernetes and its networking work (CNI, services, ingress);
- Have experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure/Yandex cloud);
- Understand basic network concepts (TCP/IP, routing, overlay networks VXLAN/EVPN, Geneve);
- Have worked with infrastructure or platform products (IaaS/PaaS);
- Have experience launching or developing low-level/platform products.
