The Russian Weightlifting Federation (RWF) is seeking an Event Management Director. The Russian Weightlifting Federation (RWF) is dedicated to the development of weightlifting.

Responsibilities:

• Development of strategy and concept for RWF events
• Management of the event portfolio (offline / online / hybrid)
• Formation and management of the event team
• Control of deadlines, budget, and quality of execution
• Optimization of event management processes and standards
• Interaction with key internal and external stakeholders
• Analysis of event effectiveness and implementation of improvements

Requirements:

• Strategic and operational management of the event direction
• Financial planning and budgeting
• Management of contractors and key partners
• Risk control and crisis management at events
• Formation of reporting and analytics
• Team development and role allocation
• Minimum 5 years of event management experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of team leadership experience
• Experience in organizing large-scale events (100+ participants)
• Experience in budgeting and P&L management — desirable
• Higher education (management, marketing, event)
• Strategic and operational planning
• Financial planning and budget control
• Team and contractor management
• Event effectiveness analytics
• MS Office / Google Workspace
• Project management tools (Asana, Notion, Trello — a plus)
