IT company Lofty is looking for a Commercial Director.
The company is currently building an internal AI R&D laboratory where it creates and tests AI agents and assistants, turning hypotheses into rapid prototypes and then into scalable commercial products.
They are looking for a Deputy COO to help scale the operational model and achieve ambitious 2026 goals.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the operational model of product and R&D divisions, ensuring its efficiency and scalability
- Building and developing end-to-end business processes, creating evaluation systems, KPIs, and motivation from scratch
- Increasing the operational efficiency of teams, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
- Ensuring the stability of the operational framework during increased load, improving business predictability and manageability
- Controlling the budget and optimizing operational costs
- Building a transparent system for planning and resource allocation, working with timelines and budgets
- Managing operational risks, ensuring process resilience and resolving crisis situations
- Working with AI tools, analyzing and implementing them into the company's operational processes to improve efficiency, automation, and the quality of management decisions
Requirements:
They are looking for not just an operations manager, but a strong system specialist at the scale-up/COO track level. A big plus would be:
- 4–7+ years of experience in IT/digital/product companies and startups
- Practical experience in managing resources, costs, and efficiency
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to "assemble a system out of chaos"
- Ability to work in conditions of uncertainty and rapid growth
- Interest in AI/technologies and readiness to quickly dive into new products
