What you will do
- Develop a product design strategy for your area.
- Ensure compliance with design standards: design system, design patterns, processes.
- Lead the conceptual design process and promote their implementation with the design team.
- Regularly conduct reviews and validate designers' solutions. Ensure high quality of the final interface.
- Participate in the prioritization and analysis of incoming tasks from business and related departments.
- Develop the team: hire and onboard designers, balance workload, maintain team rituals, mentor and help everyone grow professionally and build their careers.
- Interact with design leads of other areas, as well as with CTO, CPO, and PO to develop digital product development plans, standards, and design development processes.
- Manage communication and defend design decisions before stakeholders.
- Be a design leader not only in your area but also beyond: participate in growth initiatives, bank events, and external conferences.
Our requirements for candidates
- You can showcase projects that you have implemented with your team – from task definition to production deployment. We expect work of high visual and product quality. Recommended format: portfolio or presentation.
- You genuinely love the design process, know how to build it, identify problems, implement new approaches and technologies.
- You have managed design teams of 5 or more people and can share how you developed employees' competencies, built development plans, and systematically evaluated your team.
- You can manage the expectations of stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. You are ready to offer alternative solutions in challenging situations and can resolve complex issues.
- You maintain transparent and timely communication, understanding its importance.
- You have experience in creating interactive prototypes.
- You know research methods, can formulate and test hypotheses. You can validate and apply results.
- You know the guidelines of operating systems and mobile platforms, their capabilities, and limitations of various technologies.
- You are capable of quickly learning and applying new technologies and tools.
- You can work with business metrics, PnL, and make decisions based on them.
- It will be a bonus if you have experience with public speaking.
