An IT company KROC is looking for an Information Security Consulting Business Lead who will scale the information security consulting practice through direct involvement in deals.
This is a role for someone who not only develops the practice but also personally leads strategic deals, closes sales, leveraging the team's expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the consulting practice in the field of information security (including audits and security assessments, compliance, development of information security strategies, vCISO, etc.) with a focus on revenue growth, practice scaling, and building a sustainable service portfolio;
- Form and manage the sales funnel for the practice: ensure plan fulfillment, growth in the number of presales, pilots, and deals;
- Generate demand for the practice's services: initiate presales, pilots, commercial proposals, and close them into contracts;
- Personally participate in key deals;
- Formulate, test, and scale sales hypotheses: from initial pilots to a replicable model;
- Participate in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, positioning, and marketing activities of the practice;
- Work with key clients: participate in account planning, develop long-term relationships, identify growth opportunities;
- Promote the practice within the company: develop sales kits, increase presale conversion, train BDMs, and strengthen sales of the practice's solutions;
- Represent the practice in the market: participate in industry events, conferences, client meetings, and workshops;
- Analyze the market, regulatory changes, and trends, form proposals for new requirements and opportunities.
Candidate Expectations:
- Experience in business development/sales/sales management in consulting or information security;
- Understanding of the compliance area: regulatory requirements (e.g., 152-FZ, 187-FZ, industry standards, etc.), risk management practices, and internal controls;
- Ability to sell complex consulting projects and transformational initiatives through business value;
- Skills in conducting strategic negotiations and working with C-level clients;
- Proven experience in launching new practices, testing hypotheses, and bringing consulting services to market;
- Ability to work with uncertainty and take responsibility for results;
- Strong communication and leadership skills: ability to build cross-functional interaction/unite teams around a goal and drive the practice forward.
