A multidisciplinary international investment group Finstar Financial Group is seeking an Operations Director in India.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing growth strategies (neo-bank)
- Leading, inspiring, and ensuring high performance within the organization (100+ employees) to ensure the delivery of products/services (B2C, credit card, lending products), fulfillment, and payment management for all partners and clients
- Leading and developing the client lifecycle, including client onboarding, compliance, reconciliations, servicing, and support for client applications
- Establishing, validating, and maintaining a high level of quality across all key areas of responsibility
- Measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes, both internally and externally, identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Acting as the liaison between the company and the client to ensure quality
- Tracking and managing the performance of operational activities
- Selecting and communicating clear metrics relevant to overall performance and ambitious transformation agenda
- Leveraging data to define further strategies for success and influence behavior and actions across the organization
- Developing and implementing an integrated strategy in conjunction with the commercial team for the design and implementation of client solutions and the internal audit group
- Attracting, developing, inspiring, and motivating talent and teams to achieve and exceed organizational and commercial sales goals
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role within the financial industry (banks, fintech, payment solutions), experience leading transformational operations across different regions
- Deep knowledge and understanding of current and future payment technologies, risks, and management throughout the payment lifecycle
- Commercial orientation and pragmatism, excellent strategic thinking, and a strong ability to identify opportunities and define solutions
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving results in operational P&L management and delivering robust financial outcomes
- Problem-solving and analytical/decision-making skills
- Fluent in English
