COO / Chief Operating Officer
A leading International FinTech / Payments company is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take over the management of the company's daily operations and help build a sustainable system for further scaling.
The company is in a phase of active growth: key departments have been formed and the main payment solutions launched, but processes continue to develop along with the business. Now, a leader is needed who can strengthen the operational model, improve the efficiency of interaction between functions, and gradually transition the owner out of daily operational management.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing operational activities and heads of functional areas.
- Building interaction between Payments, Finance, Support, Tech, Project Management, and Commercial.
- Auditing and optimizing end-to-end processes, eliminating operational bottlenecks.
- Implementing regulations, a system of responsibility, KPIs, and management reporting.
- Automating manual processes, implementing ERP and analytics tools.
- Monitoring key operational indicators and payment solution efficiency.
- Participating in the launch of new payment methods, providers, and products.
- Developing the organizational structure, managers, and team.
- Analyzing critical incidents and implementing solutions to prevent their recurrence.
What is important:
- Experience in the position of COO / Operations Director / Head of Operations or a similar leadership role.
- Experience specifically in FinTech, PSP, acquiring, payment aggregator, or other transactional business.
- Managing multiple functions simultaneously and a team through direct reports.
- Practical experience in scaling operations and building processes.
- Deep understanding of payment economics: Pay-in / Pay-out, PSP, commissions, FX, settlement, reconciliation, routing, success rate, merchant economics.
- Ability to independently work with data, identify reasons for deviations, and make decisions based on them.
- Experience in process automation and implementation of management tools.
