Description
SberData is responsible for developing the data platform at Sber. We manage over 230 Petabytes of data, about a hundred products and services for clients, including the Data Supermarket, Datateka, Data Lab, Graph Platform, and many others. We create our own platform builds as part of vendor replacement and actively collaborate with all Sber divisions to solve their business tasks: our users have already created over 6,500 data marts. SberData implements best practices for working with data, reduces data storage costs, increases data retrieval speed, and implements AI technologies. Our solutions are used by over 30,000 people.
Responsibilities
Tasks:
- organizing and overseeing work on the development and integration of a data platform based on Apache Ozone and related technologies
- defining product development strategy
- managing the backlog, development team, and maintenance.
Requirements
We expect:
- at least 3 years of experience in the role of project manager, project or product manager in the field of Data solutions or platform services
- deep knowledge of the principles of operation and interaction of the listed technologies: Apache Ozone (S3-compatible) / HDFS, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, StarRocks / Apache Doris, Apache Hive
- experience in product management, including defining strategy, PV and backlog management
- full cycle of work with tasks: identifying needs, formalization, decomposition, prioritization, planning, execution tracking, deadline control, and reporting
- knowledge of principles for working with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and virtual machines
- skill in working at the intersection of business consumers, developers, DevOps/SRE, and architects. Conducting working meetings, preparing minutes, and resolving organizational conflicts.
