TravelTech company Atlasbus is looking for a CPO.
Atlasbus is a TravelTech company that is changing the passenger transportation market with the help of technology. The company is building more than just a ticket booking service. Atlas is an ecosystem of products for passengers, carriers, and its own operational team: a mobile app, a web platform, B2B solutions, and internal systems for managing transportation and services.
Millions of passengers use the company's products, and now the company is moving to the next stage of development — it wants to build a strong product system that will allow it to find growth points faster, test hypotheses, and turn technologies into measurable business results.
Therefore, they are looking for a CPO / Product Director who will take responsibility for the development of Atlas's product direction.
This role is for someone who can simultaneously see the strategy several years ahead and, if necessary, dive into a specific product problem with the team.
Why the Company Needs a CPO:
Your task will not be to "maintain the existing product".
Together with the team and the CEO, you will define what Atlas products should become in 2-3 years and how they will grow.
Your area of responsibility includes the entire product ecosystem:
- B2C: passenger journey from trip search and booking to trip completion and the next purchase
- B2B: products and tools for carriers and partners
- Mobile and web
- Internal products and backend systems, including IMS
- AI and automation of customer and operational scenarios
What You Will Do
Define Product Strategy:
- Formulate a unified product vision and development strategy for Atlas's B2C and B2B products.
- Understand the market, competitors, and customers, anticipate changes, and find new growth points.
- Translate business strategy into clear product priorities and a roadmap.
Manage Product Through Business Results:
- Define a system of key product metrics and link it to business economics.
- Work with funnels, conversion, retention, LTV/CAC, NPS, unit economics, and other indicators that truly reflect product value.
- Do not measure success by the number of features released — understand how a specific product solution impacted the customer and the company's finances.
Develop Customer Experience:
- View the product through the eyes of a passenger and a partner.
- Manage the CJM and identify points where the customer encounters problems, abandons a purchase, or does not return.
- Test hypotheses through data, customer development, experiments, and MVPs.
Manage Product Portfolio and Roadmap:
- Determine what the company should really do now and what it should not.
- Manage priorities between B2C, B2B, mobile, web, internal systems, and infrastructure changes.
- Formulate and defend the product roadmap based on customer value, economics, and company strategy.
Build a Strong Product Function:
- Develop Product Managers / Product Owners and establish unified standards for product work.
- Build a transparent process from idea and discovery to delivery and results evaluation.
- Implement and improve product practices, Agile/Scrum, work with metrics, documentation, and product hypotheses.
- Create an environment where the team understands not only what needs to be done, but also why.
Unite Business and Technology:
- Work at the intersection of product, development, marketing, sales, analytics, customer service, and the operational team.
- Be a partner to the CEO and other leaders in making business development decisions.
- Be able to discuss architecture and technical limitations with developers, and economics and strategy with the business.
- And yes — sometimes dive into the details personally. They are looking for not a manager who manages the product solely through presentations and meetings.
You'll Be a Good Fit If You:
- Have already created and scaled digital products in the role of CPO, Head of Product, Product Lead / Senior Product Manager, or built your own tech startup.
- Have at least 3 years of serious product experience and experience going through the full cycle — discovery → development → launch → growth → optimization.
- Can build a product strategy and translate it into a roadmap and a system of concrete priorities.
- Make decisions based on data and can work with unit economics, LTV, CAC, retention, conversion, and product funnels.
- Can conduct customer development, build CJMs, and identify real customer problems.
- Understand modern software development and can speak the same language as engineers.
- Are not intimidated by the technical side of the product: APIs, integrations, backend systems, basic network services, and architectural limitations.
- Can manage the work of multiple teams and influence people even when they are not administratively subordinate to you.
- And most importantly — you can be responsible not for the process, but for the product and business results.
It will be a big plus:
- Experience in TravelTech, Mobility, Marketplace, E-commerce, FinTech, or other high-load B2C/B2B services.
- Experience scaling a product to multiple markets.
- Experience building or restructuring a product function.
- Entrepreneurial experience or your own startup.
- Experience applying AI in real products and business processes.
Why This Role Might Be Interesting:
- Scale. Your decisions will impact a product used daily by real passengers and partners.
- Real Business Impact. Here, the product cannot be separated from the business: changes in the customer journey, algorithm, process, or interface are reflected in conversion, number of trips, repeat purchases, and company economics.
- Not Just Digital. You will work at the rare intersection of technology, marketplace, logistics, and real operational processes.
- Freedom to Influence. They are looking for someone not to execute a ready-made roadmap. On the contrary, they expect the CPO to ask product questions, debate, change priorities, and shape the future of the product together with the CEO.
- Speed. The team dislikes bureaucracy for bureaucracy's sake. A good hypothesis should not be discussed for months — it needs to be tested quickly and the results observed.
What is Offered:
- Competitive compensation commensurate with the CPO level.
- Official employment.
- Bonus part, which can be tied to the achievement of agreed business and product results (clear KPIs).
- Remote/hybrid work format.
- Flexible start to the workday.
- Vacation of 25 days + 3 additional days.
- Sports compensation (sports membership, pool, etc.).
- Voluntary medical insurance (DMS) after one year of successful work.
- Budget for professional development, conferences, and growth.
- Access to modern analytical and AI tools.
- Direct interaction with the CEO and the opportunity to genuinely influence the company's strategy.
What Will Be the Result of Your Work:
In a year, the team wants to see not just a new roadmap or more releases. They want to see the Atlas product system where:
- It is clear which product metrics drive the business.
- Decisions are made based on data and customer insights.
- B2C and B2B products are developed within a unified strategy.
- The team quickly tests hypotheses and knows how to abandon those that don't work.
- Product, technology, marketing, and operations move towards common goals.
- The product becomes one of the key growth drivers for the company
