Senior Product Designer for Disk

Yandex Disk is one of the services within the Yandex 360 ecosystem and the #1 cloud storage in Russia. We are currently actively developing the mobile application and are looking for a Senior Product Designer to strengthen the team.

Your focus at work will be the mobile application of Disk and photo-related scenarios.

What tasks await you

Work in a product team You will independently manage design tasks from idea to launch. You will need to deeply immerse yourself in Disk's scenarios, especially mobile scenarios and photo-related scenarios: storage, photo sharing, editing, and other processes.

Collaboration You will need to interact with product managers, researchers, analysts, developers, and other designers. Your task is to create interfaces that consider the scenarios of several Yandex 360 services (Disk, Telemost, Calendar, Mail).

Design system You will maintain and develop a unified component system so that Disk's interfaces are consistent, flexible, and simple for users. You will contribute to the development of Yandex's design system.

We expect you to

• Have worked with iOS and Android platforms, know their guidelines and specifics
• Love metrics and create solutions based on data
• Know how to find a balance between user, business, and development needs
• Have experience conducting or participating in UX research
• Possess good soft skills: know how to listen, hear, negotiate, and defend your point of view
• Strive to make complex things simple
• Are meticulous about visual aesthetics, love typography, and are attentive to details
• Love to experiment and create new things
