🎮 We are looking for a Senior Game Designer and a Balance Game Designer for a dynamic first-person roguelite FPS for Steam/PC on Unity.
🔥 Senior Game Designer Main focus: • System design of combat, meta, and economic systems • Development and tuning of the combat system: weapons, enemies, abilities, balance • Participation in level design • Work in Unity • Regular playtests and analysis of player experience • Tuning shooting, difficulty, and progression What's important: • 5+ years of experience in Game Design • Real experience working with Unity • Deep understanding of FPS and roguelite genres • Extensive playtime in the genre and knowledge of references: Roboquest, Gunfire Reborn, Hades II, Ravenswatch, Sworn, Abyssus
⚖️ Balance Game Designer Here the main focus is on balance, numbers, and the interrelation of game systems: • Balance of the combat system and difficulty curve • Balance of economy and meta-progression • Working with numbers, spreadsheets, and game parameters • Building and tuning balance models • Conducting playtests and tuning player experience • Work in Unity What's important: • 4+ years of experience in Game Design • Experience working with Unity • Strong skill in working with Google Sheets/Excel spreadsheets and balance • Deep understanding of FPS and roguelite genres • Extensive playtime in genre references If you have examples of balance sheets, models, calculations, or systems that you designed and tuned yourself, we would be happy to see them.
