Retail Director for Russian Women's Sportswear Brand IRNBY
For the Russian women's sportswear brand IRNBY, we are looking for a Retail Director who will be responsible not only for commercial results but also for the quality of client experience, operational efficiency, and team development.
Responsibilities:
Managing the financial performance of the offline segment:
- Be responsible for the P&L of the retail segment, ensuring the achievement of financial targets and sustainable profitability of the chain.
- Formulate budgets, control operating expenses, and manage resource utilization efficiency.
- Manage key retail metrics: revenue, conversion, average check, UPT, payroll costs, store profitability, and inventory turnover.
- Analyze results, identify reasons for deviations, and implement plans to improve indicators.
Managing client experience:
- Formulate a unified high standard of service throughout the entire retail network: develop and implement customer service standards, regularly evaluate their effectiveness, and improve them.
- Analyze customer feedback, handle complaints, and transform client insights into process changes.
- Develop a service culture and ensure its daily adherence by all stores.
Managing operational efficiency:
- Ensure compliance with company operational standards and regulations.
- Control cash discipline, merchandising, delivery acceptance, document flow, inventory counts, and product management.
- Identify bottlenecks in processes and implement changes that increase store operational efficiency.
- Optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and increase the productivity of the retail network.
- Build a transparent reporting and performance management system.
Developing the retail network:
- Develop a strategy for the offline segment's development.
- Participate in opening new stores: evaluate project economics, set target indicators, and support the launch.
- Monitor the network's competitiveness and initiate projects to improve store efficiency.
Managing the team:
- Lead store managers.
- Foster a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and results orientation.
- Develop motivation, training, and employee development systems in collaboration with HR.
- Develop strong leaders and build a talent pool.
Candidate Expectations:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Retail Director, Operations Director, or Head of a retail network in the fashion industry.
- Understanding of key sales drivers in offline retail and the ability to influence them through assortment, customer service, merchandising, team, operational processes, and commercial activities.
- Experience in building and implementing operational standards, optimizing processes, and improving store efficiency.
- Deep understanding of the customer journey and experience in developing service as a tool to increase conversion, average check, and loyalty.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with retail metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing a distributed team, developing store managers, and fostering a culture of accountability for results.
- Understanding of IRNBY's brand visual communication and audience expectations.
