We are building Megorod – a convenient, accessible, and safe intercity travel service. We grew out of a startup and preserve its atmosphere: we make decisions quickly, without bureaucracy, and back up results with metrics. We use Yandex Taxi technologies to solve problems of accessibility, safety, and convenience for intercity trips. We operate in three countries on ~600 routes and have no plans to stop there.

We are looking for an experienced mobile application testing engineer to help us grow actively and maintain the quality of the passenger and driver applications.

Our tech stack: Android Studio, XCode, Charles Proxy, MacOS, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, BDUI, Yandex Tracker.

What tasks await you

Testing mobile applications You will be responsible for testing mobile applications for passengers and drivers, conducting integration testing and release candidate testing, as well as helping with the launch of new routes.

Maintaining test documentation You will create and update test documentation, including bug reports, test cases, tool documentation, and project documentation.

Communication and processes You will need to interact with a large development team and managers, helping to build quality assurance processes.

We expect you

• Have worked in mobile testing for at least two years
• Master mobile application testing tools: sniffers (including working with mocks), Android Studio (ADB, Logcat, emulators), XCode (working with logs and builds on the simulator), etc.
• Know how to work with the MacOS terminal at a basic level (navigating between folders, creating/editing/deleting files)
• Deeply understand the principles of client-server architecture
• Are active and proactive, able to organize your work
• Possess excellent communication skills, want to develop and improve in testing

Will be a plus

• Have tested applications on Flutter and are familiar with cross-platform applications
• Have experience testing applications with BDUI
• Use AI to optimize your work
• Know programming languages and use them to write autotests or scripts for automating routine tasks
