Legal Counsel (Litigation and Claim Work)

We are looking for a lawyer to join the litigation and claim work group of the Yandex Market service. You will be responsible for handling a variety of legal disputes in arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction.

What tasks await you

Handling Legal Disputes You will handle legal disputes in arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction, prepare procedural documents (responses, motions, appeals against court acts, objections, statements of claim), represent Market's interests in court, develop case strategies and tactics, and conduct legal examination of documents related to the dispute.

Collection of Accounts Receivable You will interact with related departments to collect data on accounts receivable and resolve other issues related to the subject of the dispute. You will need to analyze legislation and judicial practice, assess potential lawsuits for their chances of success in court, and prepare statements of claim for damages recovery and bringing to subsidiary liability.

We expect that you

• Have a relevant law degree
• Have at least three years of experience in litigation and claim work in B2C and B2B areas
• Are diligent, able to work in a multitasking mode
• Have proficient oral and written communication skills
• Are attentive to details
