Colleagues, We are looking for an AI Director at the East Mining Company.
We are not a startup or a bank. We are the largest mining operation by overburden on the continent. 5,000 people. 19 million tons of extraction in 2026. The most complex conveyor in Russia – 23 kilometers across difficult terrain. And for several years, we have been systematically building the most digital company in heavy industry.
Today, at our mine, a swarm of 30+ AI agents manages shifts in real-time. 80 trucks receive directives directly on drivers' tablets – without a dispatcher, without a radio in the chain. The balancer recalculates the arrangement every three minutes. The economic effect at just one of our enterprises is over 1.5 billion rubles a year. This is not a pilot. This is already a working operating system.
In parallel, we have launched streaming agents in various functions: an AI recruiter handles hiring from requirements to offer, an AI procurement specialist closes the purchasing cycle, a PR agent works with publications. The first employees have already been hired by an agent without human involvement.
The next step is a driverless control room. And beyond that – an entirely AI-native organization: every function, every manager, every process on AI rails.
For this, we need a unique individual to lead further scaling and the move towards an AI-native organization.
Not a technical director or a head of development. An individual who is simultaneously an infrastructure architect and a transformation facilitator. Someone who will build a project management office from scratch – a small core of developers on complex agents and a layer of facilitators who will engage with functions, transfer competencies, and help understand which processes can be moved onto AI rails and how. Someone who will help each function become an independent owner of AI processes – rather than creating dependence on the center.
This is not about building everything yourself. It's about helping the organization grow from within.
Technically, they understand agent orchestration, LLM harness, memory architecture, and integration with OT systems. Organizationally – they know how to negotiate where others would push, build trust with operational teams, and speak equally with shift supervisors and top management. Without a bureaucratic reflex. Someone who shares exponential thinking – seeing not the next step, but the next order of magnitude.
Direct reporting to the CEO. Architectural freedom. No committees for half a year – a decision is made, and it's in the field within a week.
This task in heavy industry has not yet been solved by anyone with such speed and capabilities. We are solving it.
