A Head of New FMCG Categories Department is required for a multidisciplinary holding of federal level, Kavaya Group.
Kavaya Group is a federal-level association holding leading positions in important economic sectors. The company's main priority is the production of natural dairy products from environmentally friendly raw materials. Alongside the production of first-class food products, the group has brilliantly mastered business consulting, IT technologies and communications, medical services, and many others. The association includes major brands such as "Food Milk" and "Your Farm", which owns several livestock farms and its own modern dairy production facilities located in the Moscow and Vladimir regions.
Position Goal:
The main task is to find promising categories and products, calculate the economics, organize pilot launches, and scale successful directions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Finding promising FMCG categories for company development (food products)
- Market, competitor, shelf, price, and trend analysis
- Forming the product assortment matrix for new directions
- Identifying opportunities in categories: dairy products, cheeses, snacks, confectionery, beverages, ready-to-eat meals, frozen foods, high protein, Caucasian line, private label
- Interaction with related departments: sales, marketing, production, procurement, finance, quality, logistics
- Preparing business cases for new products
- Launching pilot projects and evaluating them
- Scaling successful products
- In collaboration with KAM and trade marketing, preparing proposals for retail chains
- Managing the P&L of new categories
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in FMCG, food industry
- Experience launching new products or categories
- Understanding of federal retail chains and retail
- Ability to calculate product economics
- Experience working with manufacturers, contract manufacturers, or private labels will be a plus
- Understanding of packaging, positioning, pricing, margin, promotions, and logistics
- Ability to bring a project from idea to sales
