Category Manager in Marketing (FMCG; Food)
As part of our collaboration with "MK "Pavlovskaya Sloboda" LLC, we are looking for a Category Manager for the marketing department, responsible for the "Meat Products" category.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's strategy for the meat processing category (including the positioning of the "Velcom" brand), continuous development of the product assortment, searching for and implementing innovative product solutions, maintaining the brand image, and promoting it using the most effective tools.
You will also be responsible for achieving the company's KPIs, particularly the target sales volume, turnover, and profitability levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market and competitor analysis, identifying opportunities to improve the competitiveness of the company's products, and identifying potential markets for the company;
- Participating in the development of strategic business directions, long-term and strategic planning of the company's marketing activities, as well as periodic adjustment of activity plans based on achieved results;
- Determining medium-term and long-term development prospects for product categories in the "Meat Delicacies" group, forming category development plans, developing and implementing new product concepts. Updating the current product portfolio and introducing innovative product solutions in line with the company's global strategic priorities;
- Determining the target market price positioning;
- Managing the company's product portfolio, including determining the development potential of current and new product portfolio directions, including private label (PL) projects;
- Developing a communication strategy, maintaining brand image;
- Forming a budget for promoting product categories and a plan for advertising activities to promote the company's brand and categories, including direct advertising and BTL, and ensuring its synchronization with the sales department, trade marketing, corporate communications department, and other company departments;
- Managing the marketing team.
Requirements:
- Higher education in marketing, management, economics;
- Marketing experience of 3 years or more in managerial positions (Category Manager, Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Manager);
- Experience in category management in FMCG, preferably in the meat processing industry segment;
- Participation in the development and implementation of brand development strategy;
- Experience in managing a company's product portfolio, developing innovative products, and successfully launching company products to the market (including private label);
- Development of medium-term and long-term category development plans in accordance with the company's strategy, including a communication plan; skills in adjusting plans based on data and industry changes;
- Experience in managing product lifecycle, including positioning, pricing, and assortment renewal;
- Experience in team management and cross-functional interaction;
- Leadership, analytical thinking, communication skills, results-orientation, flexibility.
