A modern winery with its own production is looking for an Operations Director with successful experience managing a full-cycle winery or agro-industrial enterprise. The ideal candidate can combine strategic business management with a deep understanding of full-cycle production processes, from grape cultivation to finished product release.
Responsibilities:
- Operational and strategic management of the winery.
- Management of the enterprise's production activities, achievement of production and financial targets.
- Management of the administrative block and production personnel: finance, accounting, legal, IT, harvesters, tractor drivers, etc.
- Coordination of the agronomist and oenologist (without direct administrative subordination; functional interaction).
- Interaction with government bodies, including the Ministry of Agriculture, for example, obtaining state subsidies and other support measures.
Requirements:
- Higher education.
- At least 7–10 years of management experience in the winemaking industry or a related agro-industrial sector.
- Experience as a General Director, Executive Director, Operations Director, or Director of a Production Complex.
- Experience interacting with a board of directors, owners, or investment funds.
- Experience managing vineyards of 100–500 hectares.
- Experience managing a full-cycle winery (from grape cultivation to finished product release).
- Successful experience in forming and developing production teams.
- Experience launching new production facilities, scaling businesses, or implementing investment projects will be a significant advantage.
- Experience in budgeting and controlling financial performance.
- Experience interacting with state authorities.
