CTO / Technical Co-founder (Crypto Prop Trading)

PepperProp is a reliable and transparent cryptocurrency proprietary trading platform that focuses on discipline, transparency, and real payouts, providing traders with an environment for professional growth, not gambling. Our goal is to become the most trusted partner for serious traders.

We are looking for a Technical Co-founder and CTO to build the company's technological foundation from scratch. This is a lead founding engineer role: from pre-seed to MVP, you will actively design, code, and launch the system, and then scale it and build a team. This is your chance to directly influence the company's future from day one.

Responsibilities: ◽️ Full responsibility for the design and approval of the entire platform's technical architecture. ◽️ Development and integration of key systems: trading terminal and backend infrastructure. ◽️ Implementation of financial risk and business rules management mechanisms (risk & rules engine). ◽️ Ensuring the platform's high reliability, scalability, and resistance to abuse. ◽️ Hiring, developing, and managing the engineering team as the company grows.

Your Profile (Ideal Candidate):

✔️ 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing high-load industrial systems in crypto trading (CEX/DEX, DeFi infrastructure, on-chain applications). ✔️Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of production-ready trading functionalities or similar complex fintech systems (full cycle). ✔️Practicing senior+/lead engineer with an architect's mindset and readiness to actively develop in the early stages. ✔️Deep understanding of security: threat modeling, code auditing, incident monitoring, and response. ✔️Adversarial mindset: approaching systems with the question "how can this break or be exploited?" ✔️Readiness for startup culture: self-sufficiency, high speed, and full responsibility for results.
