About the Team
People come to us for help with problems: when the refrigerator breaks, a tutor is needed, or repairs are required. Thanks to Avito Services, customers find professionals, and professionals find clients.
The Events & Entertainment team is developing the events and entertainment segment within Avito Services – the Top-1 category by MAU among Services with the youngest audience. We compete with social networks and messengers for event planning scenarios and UGC content: developing cross-posting with external services, event planning tools, the excursion market, seller profiles (video business cards, portfolios, reviews), and a news feed.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team;
- define and develop team design based on product needs;
- help employees grow and realize their best qualities;
- design flexible and extensible systems;
- participate in the formation of product and work plans, and manage team workload;
- validate and defend architectural solutions, be ready to dive into code if necessary;
- interact with neighboring teams and units;
- be responsible for the stability and technical quality of the project;
- form and manage the team's technical backlog.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Agile product development;
- ability to manage development processes, knowledge of tools for measuring their effectiveness and methods for improving it;
- experience in leading a development team (preferably cross-functional);
- a systematic approach to working with people (motivation, development, adaptation);
- understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns;
- ability to design systems for business needs;
- ability to write code in a backend language.
