A leader in the creation and support of modern maritime digital solutions, Transas is looking for an IT Director who will be responsible for the development and stability of the company's entire IT environment: from servers and networks to key business systems and information security.
Your task will not be to administer, but to build and develop the company's technological platform: make it scalable, secure, and ready for business growth. The IT team currently consists of: 2 system administrators for the first line of support, 2 for the second. Total staff is approximately 250 people, 2 offices in St. Petersburg.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Formation of IT infrastructure architecture and its development
- Fault tolerance of servers, networks, and business systems
- Development of the virtualized environment (Proxmox)
- Development of the 1C platform and DBMS (including PostgreSQL)
- Development of the Linux landscape and mail infrastructure
- Integration of services in a secure environment (Personal Data, Critical Information Infrastructure)
- Development of DevSecOps processes and vulnerability management
- Implementation of information security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)
- Management of IT risks and investments
- Leadership of the infrastructure team (4 people)
Required Competencies:
- Experience in managing corporate IT infrastructure
- Skills in designing fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Understanding of business-critical system architecture (1C, databases, mail)
- Experience with virtualization (Proxmox/VMware/KVM)
- Confident work with Linux and Windows
- Understanding of enterprise-level network architecture
- Experience with DBMS (PostgreSQL/MS SQL)
- Experience or understanding of information security (NGFW, SIEM, DLP, etc.)
- Experience in building fault-tolerant solutions
- Understanding of personal data and/or critical information infrastructure requirements
Will be a plus:
- Experience with import substitution
- Zero Trust
- Containerization and CI/CD (Docker, GitLab CI, Kubernetes)
