Russian "mind-reading" startup Neiry is looking for a Chief Strategy Officer.
Neiry is a Russian flagship in neurotechnology, creating products at the intersection of neuroscience, hardware, software, medicine, wellness, and artificial intelligence. The company develops neuromodulation, neurointerfaces, brain signal analysis, medical R&D projects, and brings neurotechnology products to the Russian and international markets.
They are seeking a strategy manager who will help the company make faster decisions about new directions and transform complex technological hypotheses into understandable business projects.
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate new strategic directions in neurotechnology, medtech, and digital health
- Conduct market research for Russian and international markets: assess market size and dynamics, competitive landscape, customer segments, regulations, entry barriers, and business models
- Build financial models, unit economics, revenue and cost forecasts, and evaluate the investment attractiveness of projects
- Prepare business cases and defend decisions on launching, prioritizing, reassembling, or closing initiatives
- Break down complex and uncertain tasks into working hypotheses, analytical blocks, and a clear action plan
- Prepare presentations, analytical memos, and recommendations for top management
- Find external analytical partners and contractors, evaluate their proposals, and coordinate work
- Support negotiations with partners: prepare analytics, arguments, commercial proposals, and materials for meetings
Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years of experience in strategic consulting, corporate strategy, venture building, or a related role
- Ability to structure complex tasks without ready-made answers, requiring independent hypothesis formulation
- Strong analytical skills and confident data handling
- Practical experience in market sizing, building financial models, business cases, and unit economics
- Ability to quickly immerse oneself in new markets, technologies, and regulatory contexts
- Skill in preparing high-quality, logical, and persuasive presentations for management
- Ability to translate analytics into concrete decisions, plans, and next steps
- High level of independence, proactivity, ownership, and comfort working in uncertainty
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- English proficiency sufficient for working with international suppliers, markets, and professional literature
