Russian "mind-reading" startup Neiry is looking for a Product Lead.
Neiry is an innovative company in the field of neurotechnology, neuromodulation, and neurodiagnostics. The company develops its own electroencephalography (EEG), vagus nerve neuromodulation, neurofeedback, and biofeedback technologies. The company has its own R&D department, production, and distribution in Russia and abroad.
They are looking for an experienced Product Lead to launch and lead the Sleep direction within Neiry Wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the sleep market in Russia and identify the most promising niches
- Formulate the product strategy for the direction and define priority target audiences and product hypotheses
- Validate demand before undertaking resource-intensive development
- Create a physical technological product from scratch: from concept and requirements to prototyping, testing, production preparation, and market launch
- Manage the development of a complex solution integrating hardware, software, user data, and Neiry technologies
- Make key decisions on functionality, user scenarios, technical limitations, cost, and development timelines
- Coordinate the work of scientists, researchers, hardware and software developers, designers, and production and commercial teams
- Formulate the initial product matrix, go-to-market strategy, business model, and budget for the direction
- Present the product strategy to top management and investors, participate in fundraising
- After strategy approval, assemble and lead your own product team
Candidate Expectations:
- At least 5–7 years of experience in product management
- Proven experience launching physical technological products from scratch — from idea and demand validation to production and market launch
- Experience in healthtech, medtech, wellness, sporttech, wearable devices, or related fields concerning human health and the body
- Experience managing a product with a hardware + software integration
- Understanding of the full cycle of physical product creation: requirement definition, prototyping, testing, interaction with R&D, production preparation, and launch
- Ability to validate demand and product hypotheses before starting large-scale development
- Strong skills in market research, technology analysis, competitor analysis, and user needs analysis
- Technical proficiency and ability to engage in substantive dialogue with engineers, developers, and scientists
- Experience working in a startup environment or launching a new direction within a company
- Experience in budget formulation, defending product strategy, and interacting with investors
- Experience with B2C and B2B models
- Experience building and scaling a product team
- Practical use of AI tools for research, analytics, prototyping, and solving product-related tasks
Experience in creating a physical product is critically important. Experience solely in developing digital services without a hardware component will be insufficient for this role.
