Executive Director (Payment Systems) at Sber
An opening exists on the successful Payment Systems and Partners team for a professional capable of bringing new ideas to building the best fintech solutions. The responsibilities will involve interaction with payment systems and regulators, data analysis, financial effects, technologies, trends, project coordination and implementation, development of training programs, and preparation of materials for the bank's top management.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market analysis, monitoring global fintech trends and best practices, forming proposals for improving the bank's products and processes;
- Developing interaction with payment systems, NSPK, Associations, and the Bank of Russia on issues of developing the national payment system and digital infrastructure;
- In-depth analysis of legislation, regulatory acts, rules, conditions, and standards of payment systems and specific solutions, assessing their impact on the bank's products and development strategy, forming positions and proposals for their changes;
- Participating in the development and implementation of the bank's payment business development strategy;
- Consolidating and resolving operational issues of the division, ensuring process continuity;
- Managing cross-functional projects, evaluating effectiveness, developing and defending business projects;
- Interacting with partners within the framework of developing payment solutions;
- Forming and maintaining up-to-date knowledge bases on working with payment systems, as well as training programs;
- Developing concepts and analytical materials, supporting participation in industry forums and events with government bodies.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the payment industry / fintech;
- Deep understanding of the subject area, comprehension of payment system operating principles and modern technological solutions;
- Understanding of payment economics, revenue and expense drivers, experience in financial modeling and performance evaluation;
- Practical experience in project development and implementation;
- Understanding of the payment landscape context and development;
- Ability to structure information and identify key aspects;
- Systemic thinking, ability to decompose complex tasks, see interconnections;
- Knowledge of project management methodologies;
- Strong communication skills, conducting complex negotiations, ability to defend positions with arguments;
- Proactivity, focus on results, and accountability;
- Commitment to self-development and skill improvement.
