Our client is a fast-growing digital financial ecosystem in Central Asia, uniting a regulated bank and a portfolio of fintech businesses. We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function across multiple legal entities and be responsible for its transformation into a single, high-performing system.

This is a board-level position, encompassing strategic financial management, regulatory oversight, treasury, and financial function transformation.

Key responsibilities: — Lead the financial function of the bank and associated fintech businesses, ensuring effective financial management and performance control — Be responsible for IFRS, accounting and regulatory reporting, compliance with banking requirements, and successful audits — Consolidate financial processes, reporting, and systems into a unified operating model — Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance analysis across multiple legal entities — Lead treasury, asset and liability management (ALM), liquidity planning, funding strategy, and capital management — Develop effective approaches to transfer pricing, cost allocation, and intercompany financial transactions — Interact with top management on strategic decisions, product economics, pricing, and investment management — Build and develop a strong financial team, implementing automation and a data-driven approach to decision-making

Requirements: — 12+ years of experience in financial management, primarily in the banking sector or financial services — Experience as CFO, Deputy CFO, Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or a comparable position in a regulated financial organization — Practical expertise in regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, liquidity management, and financial control — Deep knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 9 and IFRS 15 — Experience managing financial structures involving multiple legal entities, consolidation, transfer pricing, and cost allocation — Strong expertise in treasury and ALM, including managing funding, liquidity, interest rate, and currency risks — Professional qualification ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent and/or a higher education in finance, economics, or accounting — Fluent Russian and confident English
