Development Team Lead for the Communication Products Team

About the Team

Our unit owns Avito's most crucial product metric — the number of deals closed on the platform. Our teams improve the user experience at all stages of the buyer funnel: the main page, search, product page, messenger, and calls.

You will work in a cross-functional product team with an extremely high development pace. Be ready to discuss proposed features with product managers, challenge technical solutions, and communicate extensively with other teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a cross-functional product development team of five people;

• Quarter planning, roadmap creation, setting technical goals;

• Developing engineers, conducting 1-on-1s and performance reviews;

• Being responsible for the team's operational metrics;

• Collaborating with the Product Owner, managing expectations;

• Supporting current team processes and improving them.

We expect you to:

• Have at least two years of experience leading a product development team;

• Be willing to dive into designing the entire system, not just its individual parts;

• Be interested in business metrics, act as a co-owner of the product;

• Take responsibility for decisions made and the results;

• Not be afraid of a large volume of communication with related teams;

• Have experience leading a cross-functional development team (a plus).
