Product Manager for the Monetization and User Experience Team of Rentals

Yandex Rentals is a service that helps tenants quickly find housing and owners conveniently and safely rent out apartments. We are developing an ecosystem of solutions for rentals: from search and communication to financial products after leasing.

We are looking for a product manager to develop monetization and user experience areas. You will work on a service that connects online convenience with offline reality, similar to taxi or food delivery services.

Your mission is to find a balance between the service's profitability and user satisfaction. You will influence key business metrics, creating value for both the company and our customers.

What tasks await you

Working with product metrics You will improve product metrics based on business goals. Create new and develop existing service monetization mechanics: work on designing tariffs and paid products, analyze the effectiveness of current models. Build solutions for handling payments, retentions, and refunds.

Analytics and working with data Work closely with data, build funnels, analyze user behavior, and find growth points. Based on data, formulate product solutions, build and test product hypotheses.

Optimizing the user journey Analyze and improve the UX of all stages after the lease agreement is signed.

Managing deadlines and expectations You will be responsible for the discovery and delivery stages, work with development, analytics, and design teams, maintain active communication, control deadlines, and shape team expectations.

We expect that you

• Have at least three years of experience as a product manager in services at the intersection of offline and online (in taxi, logistics, food delivery services, etc.)
• Understand what a set an MVP should contain
• Are able to identify problems, assess their scale and the potential benefit from solving them
• Are able to work in rapidly changing conditions, know how to prioritize your own tasks and the team's tasks (development, analytics, testing, and others)
• Are ready to be responsible for the product's efficiency, make decisions, and take responsibility
• Understand how development works, can speak the same language with developers, analysts, and designers
• Have experience decomposing complex projects and launching cross-platform products
• Can explain complex things in simple terms and present work results in an understandable way

Will be a plus

• Have implemented monetization in a product
• Know SQL
• Have experience building processes within a team (even better if you are a fan of optimization)
• Have encountered changes in legal documentation during product refinement or launch
