VoIP Solutions Administrator/Expert for the Corporate Telephony team
Responsibilities
- Administration of in-house developed telephony solutions (VoIP platform, session border controllers, integration solutions with the Bank's software video conferencing systems, a software telephony client embedded in Sberchat, and much more.
- Participation in the product development of in-house solutions, as well as in the process of migrating the largest installation of the corporate communications platform and the carrier interconnect platform from Western vendor solutions to in-house developed solutions.
- Identifying problems and eliminating their root causes on the Bank's telephony network.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
- Knowledge of data network architecture principles
- Knowledge of real-time data network architecture principles
- Knowledge of information security principles for data networks
- Knowledge of information security principles for real-time data networks
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP, SRTP, SRTCP
- Experience in troubleshooting data network issues
- Experience in troubleshooting real-time data network issues
- Knowledge of the Linux OS at a middle system administrator level
- Experience in deploying and maintaining Linux OS
- Experience in automating tasks in Linux OS
- Experience in maintaining and developing IP telephony systems
- Experience in conducting recovery work in case of failures and outages in IP telephony systems
- Experience in ensuring monitoring of IP telephony systems and services
- Experience with SBCs (Acme Packet, Audiocodes, and others)
- Experience with the VMware/PES virtual environment
Tools and skills, experience in which is mandatory:
- sipp (sip-tester), sngrep, tcpdump, Wireshark
Skills that will be a big plus for the candidate:
- Experience working with Confluence, Jira
- Understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, REST, JSON, IP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DTLS, ICE, WebRTC protocols
- Practical experience with opensource platforms: OpenSIPs, RTPEnigne
- Experience in maintaining Softphone (SIP clients), diagnosing call quality, solving registration issues, troubleshooting failures.
