Industrial and metallurgical holding AKRON HOLDING invites Head of the Transport and Logistics Department to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Organization and management of the transport and logistics department – planning, task distribution, performance monitoring.
- Supervision of operational activities: monitoring delivery times, routes, order fulfillment, quality of services provided by contractors and carriers.
- Management of own and attracted fleet (trucks and special equipment) – monitoring technical condition, scheduled maintenance, and operation.
- Optimization and automation of key logistics and transport processes, implementation of digital accounting and control tools.
- Development and updating of regulatory documentation (regulations, instructions, policies), formation of unified departmental work standards.
- Formation and monitoring of departmental KPI reporting, analysis of deviations from the plan, development and implementation of corrective measures.
- Employee development within the department; task assignment and performance monitoring.
- Interaction with related departments (production, supply, procurement, sales) to ensure uninterrupted logistics processes of the company.
- Monitoring the department's budget, searching for opportunities to optimize transport and logistics costs.
- Conducting negotiations and establishing work with contractors, transport companies, and service providers.
Requirements:
- Experience in building and managing a logistics and/or transport department – from 3 years.
- Experience working at a manufacturing enterprise, understanding of internal and external logistics (from order to delivery).
- Knowledge of the structure and operation of trucks and special equipment (KAMAZ, ISUZU, Scania, excavators, etc.).
- Experience in fleet management, including maintenance planning and operational cost control.
- Proficient user of 1C UAT.
- Experience in developing regulations and implementing departmental work standards.
- Skills in working with performance indicators (KPI), ability to analyze data and make decisions based on it.
- Management experience: task assignment, delegation, performance monitoring.
- Articulate speech, negotiation skills with contractors and related departments.
