Head of Product Group at Ozon Travel
Ozon Travel is looking for a Head of Product Group to take over the management of the product team for airline ticket sales.
Airline tickets are one of the marketplace's key areas. In addition to selling airline tickets, there are opportunities for integration with fintech, the loyalty program, and all product categories available on Ozon.
Tasks to be performed:
- Team management: resource allocation, planning, and employee development, priority management.
- Searching for new ideas to improve the efficiency of current processes and develop new products.
- Cross-domain coordination of large-scale projects affecting all platform users. Analysis of user experience and market trends, development of product hypotheses. Leading new product launches: from hypothesis to implementation.
- Interaction with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Developing cross-selling with other categories and products (hotels, railways).
- Building a system of metrics for the business processes of the direction;
Candidate expectations:
- Team management experience
- Experience in Online Travel and marketplaces/classifieds is highly welcomed
- Experience in managing requirements and setting tasks for the development team; theoretical knowledge of software development models (at least one);
It will be a plus if you:
- Know the aviation subject area;
- Experience in managing the full product development lifecycle and bringing a product to market, including launch, scaling, and support.
- Experience conducting competitor and market analysis to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to think strategically and commercially, understanding business and market needs, ability to find and implement new opportunities for product growth.
- Understanding of analytics and statistics, ability to make long-term decisions based on them. Calculation of project economics (monetization) and business models.
- Hypothesis testing with minimal cost of money/time.
