We develop internal VK products — the ones used daily by tens of thousands of employees: from line specialists to managers. These are complex interfaces and critically important HR processes for users who know exactly what they need: a personal account, a Performance Review platform, 360° assessment, Intranet, recruitment ATS, and LMS for internal training.
We are looking for an experienced designer who can work both according to a technical specification and take on a task with minimal description — and independently build the path from idea to a ready concept.
What you will be doing
- Taking on tasks — from hypothesis to concept — and managing them through all stages: research, design, presenting the solution, handing off for development, and monitoring implementation
- Designing complex interfaces with high data density: tables, filters, dashboards, multi-level navigation — for web and mobile
- Working closely with the research team: jointly initiating, conducting, and participating in research, formulating questions, and translating insights into design solutions
- Conducting express research independently where quick hypothesis testing is needed
- Proposing solutions and arguing for them in front of the team, PM, and stakeholders
- Maintaining quality standards: participating in design reviews and developing the internal design system
Requirements
- Independence and ownership — you take a task and see it through to completion. You don't wait for someone to set the next step
- From two years of experience in product teams, preferably in B2B, corporate, or internal products
- Data-dense interfaces — you know how to work with complex data structures and don't lose the user in busy screens
- Research stack — you understand which method is suitable for a task and can work with the results: both independently and in collaboration with the research team
- Strong UI — Figma at a level where you don't need to explain why autolayout is needed. Typography, grids, component architecture — this is your environment
- Communication with development — you participate in layout reviews, write clear specifications, know how to defend a solution and find a compromise without losing quality
- Presenting solutions — you can convey an idea to an audience of various levels — from developers to stakeholders — adapting depth and language
Will be a plus
- Experience in HRTech, EdTech, or other corporate SaaS products
- Understanding of HR processes: performance reviews, 360° assessment, LMS, and so on
- Experience working with mobile platforms iOS/Android in conjunction with web
