Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our "Spend Analytics" Competence Center. We are looking for a specialist with solid data analysis skills and experience in Process Mining technology to implement banking process monitoring projects within our team.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Data discovery and connection: finding data sources and setting up data subscriptions. For conducting research, the ability to locate data sources in data delivery services and Confluence, as well as find documentation for the data source under investigation, is required.
- Data exploration: extracting samples (small portions of data), studying the data source, its structure and quality, testing research hypotheses.
- Data transformation: writing scripts (SQL/Python) for data processing.
- Formulating requirements for improving the data source or the data transformation pipeline.

- SQL knowledge: confident work with any 1 SQL dialect: ability to write queries for extracting large datasets, create tables, and use CTEs/subqueries (or other optimization methods).
- Experience with window functions.
- Experience with JOIN types: INNER/LEFT/RIGHT JOIN.
- Experience with Spark.
- Experience with Hive / Greenplum / Clickhouse.
- Python knowledge - minimal set of libraries: Pandas, numpy, datetime. Data processing: ability to format dates appropriately, fill in missing values.
