Skyeng is looking for a Commercial Director who will take responsibility for Skyeng's commercial results: marketing and sales strategies, key funnels, and the work of the commercial team.
In this role, it is important not only to manage processes but also to deeply dive into commerce: find growth points, quickly test hypotheses, and change approaches if the current system does not yield the desired results. The Commercial Director will work directly with the business leader, who is ready to delegate a broad scope of responsibility. Here, you can independently propose changes and be accountable for their results.
Tasks:
- Formulate and implement Skyeng's marketing and sales strategies.
- Rebuild key commercial funnels, identify problems at the intersection of marketing and sales, and resolve them.
- Look for more profitable offers and test different ways of combining them.
- Determine how to reallocate marketing investments to support year-over-year business growth.
- Launch rapid commercial changes, evaluate their impact on metrics, and scale successful solutions.
- Lead a large, multi-level team and establish regular management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience managing commerce in a business that works with private clients (B2C).
- Has worked with high-ticket products and funnels where managers are involved in sales.
- Can show concrete examples of exponential growth in commercial indicators or launching a new direction from scratch.
- Has experience managing a large, multi-level team – a team of 70+ people would be a reference point.
- Deeply immerses themselves in the work of the commercial function and can independently understand funnels, marketing, sales, and offer economics.
- Makes quick decisions, tests hypotheses in short iterations, and knows how to change the approach to commercial work itself, not just improve individual metrics.
Why this role is interesting:
- Company-level business impact. The Commercial Director works directly with the CEO and participates in decisions that determine Skyeng's commercial results.
- High degree of autonomy. The CEO is ready to delegate a broad scope of responsibility and space for independent decisions to the new leader without excessive approval levels.
- Compensation tied to business results. The position includes a fixed income, an annual bonus for achieving key performance indicators, and an option program.
